2. Job requirements

- Valid passport and eligibility to obtain the required UAE work authorization.

- Safe driving skills and a responsible attitude toward road safety.

- Ability to meet Dubai's taxi-driver licensing and training requirements.

- Willingness to complete the required tests, training and licensing process.

- Basic English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic or other languages can be an advantage.

- Ability to use GPS, navigation systems and basic mobile applications.

- Good customer-service skills, punctuality and professional behaviour.

- Ability to understand routes, road signs and traffic instructions.

- Medical fitness and other documentation required by the employer and relevant authorities.

- Previous professional driving experience is beneficial, subject to the employer's criteria.

Important licensing note: An Indian driving licence alone does not automatically authorize someone to work as a Dubai taxi driver. The candidate must meet the applicable UAE and Dubai taxi-driver licensing requirements, which may include training, testing and authorization through the relevant employer or authority.
